A planning application was submitted to allow the use of a site which suffered from tidal groundwater flooding. The client wanted the site for storage of civil plant but being flooded twice a day made this difficult!
Due to the unusual nature of the issues, and complex planning guidance in relation to PPS25 Development and Flood Risk, Prism undertook the necessary discussion with the Environment Agency, and Local Council on the Client’s behalf.
