Much of South Tyneside Homes’ housing stock was built during the post war housing boom. Subsequently, the houses score poorly against the UK’s Energy Certificate scheme making them difficult to heat affordably. In partnership with EC Harris, Prism guided the project managers on how to get the necessary planning permission in the most efficient, flexible, and cheapest way possible.
We are pleased to say, that with several phases complete, the work is proving successful and the much needed investment in the areas housing stock is paying off.
