When the Visqueen Plastics plant closed, Prism were already working with the landowners to get the site allocated for development in the emerging LDF.
The team transferred to work with Bellway Homes to secure a permission for a significant brownfield regeneration scheme. A scheme of this size required a full Environmental Impact Assessment and Community Consultation exercise which Prism undertook.
The scheme is now underway despite the challenging market conditions and will eventually reveal part of the track-bed of the worlds first ever railway, the Darlington to Stockton line.
